Space Filler

Who cares. This money should be used to help homeless people, the NHS, schools and other worthwhile causes. Why are we wasting money on these restoration projects?

Tom goes on to say:-

“I honestly despair of this country when prats like Mr Bryden spew forth this drivel. We pay taxes to support the above, how the taxes are spent on the above is down to the government we elected to power, funds to support the Cutty Sark are entirely voluntary, perhaps if the Cutty Sark was an Immigrant.”

I see Tom’s point. It took me about 30 seconds though and I want that time back. I still don’t get the “Immigrant” bit.

    Hi,
    I think you got the wrong end of the stick; the comment on HYS I was pointing you towards was the one which has the bizzare non sequitur about the Cutty |Sark being an immigrant. The poster had included the previous, relatively rational, comment in his post. I guess I should have been more careful in my copy and pasting, unfortunately the comment seems to have been removed now so we may never know who the author was.

    Remember kids, include the whole post including all the signature bit. If you don’t, you might end up having the comments of a mentalist attributed to you, like poor Tom.
