Politic and religion should go in hand with neither being fanatic or closed in their approach to change. The modern day UK is now a godless place, no morals, no family life - indeed a government which actively calls for same sex marriage and children born out of wedlock. Laws have been put in place to prevent speaking out against this way of life, its called homophobic prejudice, so it seems the politics are far more fanatic and rigid than the Church.

Yay! That’s what we a need… a progressive church, open to change but opposed to these crazy modern ideas like “sex” and “homosexuality”.

I totally agree with her. I’m not even Gay, but since the government has been actively calling out for same sex marriage, I thought I ought to get hitched. Brian’s a nice guy, but at the end of the day, I am simply not gay. I blame the government for the breakdown of my marriage to Brian.

Yeah, I heeded the Government’s call and, out of loyalty to my country, had children out of wedlock. Now I just feel used.

You poor things. I can imagine your shame. I think there are lessons here for all of us.

If it wasn’t for the Pope I’d be following Tony Blairs example of pre-emptive action in Africa, giving illegal abortions to the AIDS riddled natives. Thank God for Pope.

The Pope ought to concentrate on being in charge of touching altar-boys’ bottoms and not be interfering in non-paedophile/Hitler youth/trainee-clergy molestation matters, of which he clearly has no experience. As a very wise man once said, when he was a kid, ‘I am Father Astronaut.’
