Thanks to Matt.

It seems to me that the hatred of the sensationalism and media-flurry around Diana’s death has resulted in many people forgetting that she was a very good human being. People claim she was a spotlight-hogging drama queen. Well, I love being centre of attention and am prone to a touch of melodramatics myself, but I’ll never be brave enough to go and dig up landmines.

What a woman. With all the time she spent digging up landmines, it’s amazing she had time to continue working on her AIDS cure. God she was brilliant. I’ve got a massive boner just thinking about her.

Proportion of life spent digging up landmines = 0.0000000000000000001%

Proportion of life being a spotlight hogging drama queen (I can’t top that) = 99.9999999999999999%

Based on those stats, I think we have empirical proof that Diana was, indeed, a VERY good person.

Not only was she the Queen of Hearts, but when she dug up those landmines, she became the Queen of Spades too (or maybe it was a small silver trowel). Anyway, I will miss her. Thank God we still have Sting as a beacon of self-righteous ego-wanking.
