Your jibe about hospipe bans and not creating dams seems odd. Banning dams seems to be a feature of green politics for some reason. So , for example, in spite of droughts and very occasional flooding rains in Australia - no dams are going to be built.

Since when has compulsary buying an entire valley then building a big dam been a simple idea? I’d say that’s a pretty fucking complicated solution that would take too long.
