Thanks to Mike for this.
“Remember rendition?” – This made my Friday! Proof that the air in Denver is VERY THIN. This right here is the problem with the mass media and Hollywood. They put out a movie bashing the US CIA and Military, then we get lots of people taking the movie as FACT!
Here is a great fact for the BBC commy’s: The same people the US “tortures” would not think twice about cutting your head off and burning your wives and children alive. They did it daily in Iraq before the US got a grip on it recently.

I’m glad the US has got a grip on Iraq now. By the way, “rendition” is a real policy as well as a film. It’s confusing if it’s the first time you’ve come across this idea but there are actually quite a few things that are both real things and yet have also had films made with the same name. Here are just a few examples:
- Navy Seals
- Cabaret
- Chinatown
- All The President’s Men
- Dirty Dancing
In contrast, here are some things that, despite being the names of films, are almost certainly not real.
- The Grinch Who Stole Christmas
- Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones
- Shrek
- Shrek 2
- Shrek the Third
- Timecop
If it will help, feel free to print this page and keep it with you.

Nelson, it’s all very easy to preach morality when you’re safely distanced from the issue.
Wasn’t it Bertolt Brecht who said:
“Erst kommt das not having your head chopped off and your wife and kids burned alive every day. Dann kommt die Moral.”
Indeed. I am humbled.
Erst kommt das wiki.
Dann kommt die apostrophe master cowering in humility.
I fear apostrophes. The internet has made them terrifying. It’s like handling gunpowder.
The trick is to pretend that they dont exist – just ignore them and hope theyll go away
Yeah, apostrophes can never do much damage. The far more terrifying thing about the internet is how it doesnt convey the silly voice in which certain things were meant to be said. So far that phenomenom has reversed the attitude of pretty much everthing ive ever submitted to it.
My girlfriend found my post and told me off for being a pretentious chuff by quoting Brecht. I dont even really know who he is. It was on that wikipedia.
You might just have got away with it if you hadn’t put it in German.
When I was living in Iraq I always found it terribly inconvenient, every day before lunch someone would come over to chop my head off and burn my wife and children.
My health insurance premium hasn’t been the same since.
