Racists11 Dec 2007 09:37 pm

Thanks to Gareth for this one from the “Should terrorists be allowed?” debate. Or something.

Yes. Such people should face tough consequences. They could kills lots of innocent people. If they are not happy living in this country, they should leave and fight their cause in a muslim country.
mildred

Remember Mildred, not all muslims want the terrorists living next door to them either! What’s really needed is some sort of terrorist enclave where people who’ve made “exploding lifestyle choices” can get together and blow each other up without upsetting those of us who’ve chosen to live a non-detonating existence.

Yes it does. PC Marxists have ensured the subversion of Christianity in our our country. Being a Christian is seen as something bad. It is high time we stood up as the moral majority in this country and made this country the society it once was.

The teachings of the Bible must be taught in every school in this country, that way we can become the God fearing Christian society, morally uplifted once again. It is time the Bible’s teachings were reflected in the law of the land once more.
pieter van der byl, Rhodesia, United Kingdom

How’s “Rhodesia” coming along these days Pieter?

Thanks to “Silent Bob” for this submission. Bob adds “I hope we can raise the morality of Britain using religion to the levels, of say, Sudan or Saudi Arabia. Hell maybe even the U.S.”

“One day, God willing, Europeans will realize how fundamentally silly they come off when they talk as though they matter.

Funny, we could say the same about the USA.
warrior goddess

Ha ha! Yes! Yes we could. Stimulating stuff.

Thanks to Becca for finding this one in the old “Luciano Pavarotti: Your reaction” thread.

He had a great voice and a great stage presence .

This was enhanced by his love of spaghetti and his Victorian theatrical looks.
Arthur Smedley, Carshalton Beeches,Surrey, United Kingdom

Such a shame that he never got to play the eponymous hero of “Oliver”. Never before has a boy asked for eleven consecutive helpings of spaghetti.

Thanks to James for this one.

This man (Hain) is an Idiot! I heard him on the BBC radio 4 today program this morning. Blaming the Tories after he and his cronies have been at the trough, in power for 10+ years. If I was 10 when they came to power, I would be 20ish now,

Rob Bain, Derby

I’m still not sure that I fully understand how long 10 years is. Run it past us again?

Thanks to Mike for this.

“Remember rendition?” – This made my Friday! Proof that the air in Denver is VERY THIN. This right here is the problem with the mass media and Hollywood. They put out a movie bashing the US CIA and Military, then we get lots of people taking the movie as FACT!

Here is a great fact for the BBC commy’s: The same people the US “tortures” would not think twice about cutting your head off and burning your wives and children alive. They did it daily in Iraq before the US got a grip on it recently.

Hoboken Matt, NA

I’m glad the US has got a grip on Iraq now. By the way, “rendition” is a real policy as well as a film. It’s confusing if it’s the first time you’ve come across this idea but there are actually quite a few things that are both real things and yet have also had films made with the same name. Here are just a few examples:

  • Navy Seals
  • Cabaret
  • Chinatown
  • All The President’s Men
  • Dirty Dancing

In contrast, here are some things that, despite being the names of films, are almost certainly not real.

  • The Grinch Who Stole Christmas
  • Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones
  • Shrek
  • Shrek 2
  • Shrek the Third
  • Timecop

If it will help, feel free to print this page and keep it with you.

Strange, but the people decrying religion as ‘folk tales’ seem to be the exact same ones who are always screaming about ‘global warming’.
Why is that?
the_historian, Stirling

It’s the thin end of the wedge. Soon they’ll be studying physics instead of The Bible and building semiconductors instead of churches. It’s only a matter of time before someone invents “computers” and then we’ll all have to put up with “the internet”. Stop the madness before it’s too late.

If you ask me, the economy is going to slowly cripple unless we make vast, strategic and long-term improvements to our road network.
Johnny, Hampshire

Strategic eh? Good idea. Might have to use that one myself. I say old chap, this might seem a little forward but would you consider taking on the job of Minister for Brumbrums?

Miscellaneous Prats and Outsiders05 Dec 2007 05:12 pm

Thanks to “M” who found this one on an Australian news site where they were discussing youth body image.

My 16 year old daughter is constantly teased about her weight, at school and in her workplace. As a full bodied mum, I’ve always tried to show her that being a large woman is still beautiful. Unfortunately, her peers don’t see it that way. Young men take no interest in her and that is where a big part of the problem lies. We need to encourage the young men of today to ‘go after’ girls of all sizes, especially BBW. Do we teach young men this in school or let their fathers do it? Whatever we choose, we need to decide NOW!
Sally St John, Brisbane

I’d like to offer you my support but I can’t because I’m 99% certain that, in this case, “full bodied” means “fucking tugboat”. If it’s not already too late, you need to stop bleating about how “dangerously obese is beautiful” and persuade your poor doomed offspring to stop eating so many fucking pies and do some exercise. Trust me, fanny is ALL that 16 year old boys think about. The only thing that could stop them from “going after” your daughter is the prospect that they might not be able to find it.

Thanks to Becca for cheering me up with this endearing nincompoopery.

Professor Richard Dawkins, talkes about religion, he misses the point in regards to Religion and feith that makes us understand and know God. If you ask this gentleman if he belives in homosexualism and pedophilism, most likely he will argue in its favor. This will tell us a lot about his dislike about religion and faith
Alberto, Calvillo

Bless.
