god bless you jeremy you will be missed
jonny, coventry

It makes me weep to think that we’ll never again see his massive eye or tiny camel.

But he was rich wasn’t he? Wasn’t he?

How else could he afford a gigantic eye and a miniature camel?

    Yes, it is.
Camels live on sand, sand rhymes with hand. Simple.

A typical Coventry conversation may go thuswise: “Can you camel me a plaster, I’ve just cut my camel with this camel saw. I knew those plasters would come in camely one day.”

He was funny as Gordon Brown and as much use as a rocking horse.
He was the biggest joke in all of his shows.

People overlook what a fantastic actor Jermy was. Those fuckwits were invariably taken by surprise when he unmasked himself. What a bunch of cunts.

This is, I think, the single funniest HYS I’ve seen. Probably because it doesn’t have the depressing undercurrent of violent bigotry, it’s just utterly batshit mental. I imagine a spectral Beadle riding through heaven’s desert, balanced perfectly because the big eye and the small hand are on the same side.
