    Mistaken for a white truffle in a hideaway auberge in the Dordogne, it assailed the nostrils with a seductive, exotic sensation but as it descended deeper into the digestive system, or ‘gut’, previously dormant gastric juices sprang to life in the lower intestine in an attempt to void this alien and ultimately Brown Presence…in vain. Is that what he means ?
