Racists and The Regular Twats29 Apr 2008 05:03 pm

More from my favourite soulless prick. The first is something to do with immigration.

This is just the first of many FACTS that the woolly-left have been ignoring for many years now.

It is only a matter of time before race riots spill blood on our streets.

Why did nobody listen to Enoch Powell all those years ago?

A mongoose and a snake will never live happily in the same pit.
Topsy Turvy, England, United Kingdom

You heard it here first. DON’T MIX YOUR MONGEESE WITH SNAKES OR THEY WILL NEVER BE HAPPY.

Is hip-hop ‘wrong’ for Glastonbury?

I never understood why people go to these things anyway.
Topsy Turvy, England, United Kingdom

Haven’t you heard??? Owning a valid Glastonbury ticket entitles you to pay an extra £500 into your cash ISA!!!

Has Topsy Turvey touched a nerve here?

Am I a mongoose or a snake in his analogy?

  2. on 29 Apr 2008 at 5:33 pm Nelson

He’s one of those infuriating people who not only believes he’s right about everything but isn’t actually smart enough to ever be proved wrong.

I’m not sure that the mongoose/snake thing is an analogy. I think it’s advice for zookeepers.

“Why did nobody listen to Enoch Powell all those years ago?”

Because he was a daft cunt. Next.

    CAPSLOCK ‘FACTS’!!!!11!!!1!

    FACT!

Well, it’s becoming more and more apparent that HYS is becoming distorted by an organised campaign by approx 20 or 30 BNP activists all using multiple accounts. I’m not saying the people you refer to here are necessarily related to that, but take a look at the London Election HYS and the culprits will become apparent.

The big problem with this is that it encourages the herd mentality - not everyone, but a certain percentage of people will flock to the viewpoint that appears to be most popular.

If this has real-world consequences, there may be some need for the BBC to do IP Address checking and the like. If it is actually separate people, than there needs to be a organised band of passionately moderate people to counteract this: but “passionate moderate” is almost an oxymoron.

I wonder if “Impassioned Apathy” is worth its own category? There seem to be plenty of comments of the form “I must tell everyone how little I care about this.”

And I’m not sure any animal will live happily in a pit.

    Re A.N’s comments:

They really do need a negative-feedback button on those pages, like the thumbs up/down thing on YouTube. Then we might see a bit of balance.

“This is just the first of many FACTS that the woolly-left have been ignoring for many years now.”

    It’s definitely Boris.

Negative feedback might bring a bit of balance as you say, Graham, but it could also bring the depressing realisation that more people ostensibly agree with these cunts than disagree with them. Some of the most idiotic ‘LOL BONKERZ’ comments on youtube get a horrible amount of recommendations.

    TALKING mongooses and snakes!

IT IS HELL ON EARTH, PEOPLE!!! WAKE UP, OPEN YOUR MIND, WOMEN ARE ALREADY EQUAL TO MEN, NEXT STOP IS ANIMALS EQUAL TO WOMEN, which means to MEN, WHAT A SHAME!!

  10. on 30 Apr 2008 at 6:55 am James

And I’m not sure any animal will live happily in a pit.

Typical woolly liberal thinking. I kept my daughter in a pit for 24 years and she was very happy and had mostly-surviving children.

Before I discovered Branes, I used to complain a lot to the Beeb about HYS, now and again my little post would be a drop of pure water in the cess-pool that is generally HYS. I think I successfully got the Beeb to pull a HYS discussion once, after I complained it was just pandering to the racists. Now I look at it this way - it keeps them all in the one place.

And I’m not sure any animal will live happily in a pit.

    Except the pit viper, obviously.

  13. on 30 Apr 2008 at 8:37 am chris

And the Welsh. They love their pits

  14. on 30 Apr 2008 at 10:31 am Jake the Rat

Won’t the real Elie Ngandu please stand up?

  15. on 30 Apr 2008 at 10:46 am Mr Cat

Woulnd’t a mongoose be pretty happy if it was in a pit with a snake as it would just kill it and eat it.

  16. on 30 Apr 2008 at 10:51 am Roffle

Only if it was a Welsh Mongoose.

  17. on 30 Apr 2008 at 10:55 am Evan Duntish

And who are the “woolly left” anyway? Trotskyist rams? Maoist yaks? Colin Welland?

  18. on 30 Apr 2008 at 11:37 am kyknoord

Perhaps they could work the pit in shifts?

  19. on 30 Apr 2008 at 12:55 pm Scaryduck

Shakin’ Stevens is doing Glastonbury this year. I bet Topsy’s regretting not buying a ticket now.

  20. on 30 Apr 2008 at 1:48 pm Alex

You know, I don’t think he needed the bit that says “why people go to these things anyway”.

  21. on 30 Apr 2008 at 3:24 pm sir jon dangerous

What if it was a ferret and a gecko? Or an otter and a crocodile? I want some ANSWERS, dammit

  22. on 30 Apr 2008 at 4:22 pm A.N

And now: on the second london mayoral HYS, the pro-BNP comments have jumped from 4 recommendations to about 40 within 15 minutes, despite having been there all day.

Keith Waters, Ely, the game is up. Your party would rig the ballot boxes if you could.

  23. on 30 Apr 2008 at 5:56 pm Barry Bethel

    Isn’t it mongooses?

  24. on 30 Apr 2008 at 6:21 pm Nelson

You’re right. Also, I’ve read through it all again and I think it *might* be a horrible racist analogy and not “advice for zookeepers” as I first thought. I feel like a proper charlie.

  25. on 01 May 2008 at 9:06 am Tim

@Barry: As any fule no, it’s “polygoose”.

  26. on 01 May 2008 at 8:28 pm Nik

    What about pit ponies?

  27. on 02 May 2008 at 9:26 am James

I always imagine Topsy Turvy as a kind of alternate-Universe James Harries who, instead of having gender-reassignment surgery, decided to express his unhappiness through the medium of HYS. Has anyone tried asking him his opinion of replica furniture?

  28. on 12 May 2008 at 11:12 am Alex

I really hope the plural turns out to be ‘gongmoose’.

  29. on 06 Jun 2008 at 9:47 pm hmmm

another daft twat. Enoch Powell’s rivers of blood speech was coined as such in reference to ‘ the roman watching the tyber foam’ or something like that by some old old old poet (some may even call him ancient). Well if he half arsed it, why cant i?
