Okay, I may be way out of my cultural depth here, but where in the commonwealth are donkeys also known as arses? Or apses, as it might be?

That said, I admire the daring brinkmanship in Jimbo’s game of Reveal The Rude Word, jumping straight from four asterisks to one. “Top that Sailor Sam!” he seems to say. But Sailor Sam can’t, not without dropping the A-bomb on the innocent readers of the Southern Daily Echo.

It’s like the cold war according to Tipper Gore.
