I doubt it: Immigration to the UK is scandalous! these people flooding here, with no checkable backgrounds, working in close association with vunerable groups and children. Its an absolute disgrace that they are allowed here of course thats not including the thousands that dont go through the system. they are not vetted prior to entering here which is totally wrong! and puts others at great Risk.

I think Karl is confused about his facts and sensationalism. The fact is most abuse of children, and adults to an extent to, is done by people who know them, family or otherwise. Harm can certainly be caused by people totally unknown but its much less likely than someone who is close to the victim, and having migrant ‘people unknown’ is even less of a possibility.

That sounds a bit like a knee-jerk reaction. Could we not put them into quarantine until we’re certain they’ve fled grinding poverty under authoritarian regimes is for reasons other than the opportunity to molest children?
And of course other options exist when we’re importing too much of a certain commodity. Perhaps we could introduce tariffs on child sex offenders, or maybe an annual limit?
