Could you explain what the bastard fuck this is for those spanners amongst us who didn’t have a clue what dev/twat is?

On many non-Microsoft Windows pooters (like the Mac, for example) /dev/ is a folder containing interfaces for the devices plugged into the computer. Such as the keyboard, mouse, hard drives etc.

So this nut job wrote some software that creates a fake device: /dev/twat-o-tron which, when you run a certain non-Microsoft Windows-ey 1337 command on it (not for n00bs!!111oneone), spews some HYS bile.

If you don’t have Solaris (or don’t know what it is) then just stick to the good-ole Web version. You’re not missing out on anything, mostly the object of this post is just showing off to their fellow geeks.

I for one will await the Linux port, before getting excited. And if there’s anything wrong with the above explanation of /dev/ it’s probably because I was simplifying it. Don’t correct me: I’ll get MI5 to go through your wheelie-bin; then order them to steal your washing in the name of NationalSecurity(tm).

I tyhought this was great at first, but then I noticed that thwe 0.2 version has now got mutex locks. I hate mutex locks. Mine never work.when I was young we never had to lock anything. What has happened to Solaris these days.
