The thing is, inside a HYSer’s head it’s like Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds. No ZaNu Liar-Bore wonks would have believed that in the first years of the 21st century that GREAT BRITISH affairs where being watched from the backwards lands of Eastern Europe. And yet across the gulf of a cheap Easyjet flight minds immeasurably foreign to ours regarded OUR NHS with envious eyes and slowly and surely they drew their plans against us.

This post has an alternate joke:
They’re not actually trying to come here for medical treatment. Obviously as there are no motor vehicles in Eastern Europe they’re trying to fulfill a lifetime ambition by faking illness and getting a ride in an ambulance.

Yeah, do pick up your EHIC card. I live in Vienna (god, if you think the HYS crowd are hostile towards furriners, especially dark-skinned ones, you should see the Austrians) and when my wife fainted in the street recently it was the first thing the paramedics asked for. They then spent 10 minutes filling in a form with all the details, periodically attending to her for half a second to check she wasn’t dead (which presumably would have required a second form).

I just spent a good few minutes wondering why he would call himself LoonyLeftandThick.

It’s a cunning parody of another poster who calls himself LoonyLeftandProud. That’s satire, that is.
