Ignoring for a second the sheer stupidity of the current Olympics, I think it is terrible that we have to have a seperate Olympics for the disabled.
How is segregating those with disabilities into a seperate sporting event empowering them? It simply reinforces the view that they are inferior.

Why the hell aren’t sports like Wheelchair Basketball and Wheelchair racing in the main Olympics? It’s not like they are less ‘proper’ Olympic sports than Cycling and normal Basketball.
Why do we have seperate events for Men and Women in the main Olympics but don’t bother having a Disabled event there.

Now, call me a bit special (why not, it’s my ‘name’, after all) but I can’t make my brain do the intricate double-thinking of our beloved HYSers. How can they simultaneously be saying that the paralympics are a big disgraceful loony-leftie PC plot to fool mongs and spackers into thinking they’re equal to normal, non-Joey Deacon people, when clearly they should all have been drowned at birth, Hitler had the right idea, etc. etc., froth froth, BUT also be saying it’s the left-wingers who are really unaccepting of anyone with a disability cos they’re all anti-life and all that bollocks?

Ahh, it’s all becoming clear to me now: ZaNuLiarBore clearly has dastardly plan to force all women to have abortions… UNLESS tests and scans show the foetus will have a disability, in which case, the woman will be made to have the child. What’s more, they won’t even be expected to make them feel like freaks who should be locked away from the eyes of decent, normal people forever!

In fact in reality they are not proper wheelchairs as the majority of truly disabled people have to endure. These “paralympians” should face up to reality and accept their disabilities instead of trying to be something they’re not.

And those shoes Olympic athletes run about in aren’t the same I go to work in. WHY CAN’T THESE ATHLETES STOP TRYING TO BE SOMETHING I’M NOT!?!!
