How does one deal with a yapping dog? If you kick it, it will yap all the more. If you ignore it, it may eventually bite you when you’re not looking. From experience, I’ve found if I offer some treats, the dog will pacify and, in turn, can be made to even like me. But I watch it all the while. Just takes a bit of time and patience.
