Church bells and minarets serve the same purpose – a call to prayer. If I had to choose between some religous wanker hammering chunks of metal together, or some other religious wanker singing some bullshit song, I’d go for the prick singing. At least it’s a human sound.

In the interests of equality, on the other hand, I’d say what’s good for the goose…If the fucking christians are to be allowed to ring their bells then the muslims should be allowed to sing. Personally, I’d prefer to see both communities drowned in the lake such that we might all get a bit peace and freedom from the crazy rantings of imbeciles who think they are going to live for ever. And if they want segregated lakes to be drowned in, this would also be acceptable to me.

Having said that, one should consider the question from the unique Swiss perspective. Their national flag does, after all, contain the christian cross and thus the symbols of christianity are even more deeply embedded into their culture than in other European nations.
