I’m hungover, I admit, but this has got me totally stumped.

I’ll give you a hand. I think what Jan B is trying to say is that the first contention – that England has the highest proportion of its population in prison – isn’t true (Spain, Poland and Austria are higher), and so she’s provided another bollocks comparison to counter the untrue proposition.

It’s fighting bollocks with bollocks.

Either that or Jan B is just another tossbag, and this is just another example of how ‘factual’ nonsense becomes self-replicating.

Remember, by making that comparison Jan B thought she was really smart and really clever. Jan B probably has at least one qualification. Which instantly puts her leagues above Neil Craig.
