One of the last movies I saw was A Knight’s Tale, where he acted in a completely engaging, charming & understated way. It was during a tough time in my life and I have lasting fond memories of Mr Ledger’s unique storytelling ability.

Although I don’t follow the entertainment or celebrity world, I am very much saddened to hear this news.

You seemed like a genuinely talented & nice chap, a rarer thing than should be.

How bad does your life have to get before ‘A Knight’s Tale’ seems like a highlight?

This is either about the outlawing of battery farming by 2012, or the results of an IQ test. I forget which.

so its Immigrants first, chickens second, do the normal everyday Irish, scottish, English and Welsh even come third. Time to remove the ruling looney liberal elite with any means possible.

I’m starting to wonder if there is any topic on HYS that can’t be somehow linked to immigration by these halfwits.

My 77-year-old neighbour recently asked me to lend him £339 in order to pay his 29-year-old girlfriend’s phone bill! He didn’t seem to understand that £339 was rather a lot for just two months of calls.

Sounds like a fucking bargain to me.

I went to A&E a couple of weeks ago as a split contact lense had become lodged somewhere (I could feel it). After examination was told there was nothing there. 5 days later, after using my contacts when I went cycling, I could still feel something.

That night I removed my lense and along with that – the half a lens that was apparently not there! The whole point of going was they had the specialist equipment – I can’t see into my own eyes easily. It could have been a more serious injury…

when I was young I met someone who did a year for stealing a car ( 1980 ). He really didn’t want to go back inside because Prison is a frightening place.
Much later I bought some Vivitar SLR lenses off a Prison guard who wanted to upgrade to video. He’d been a marine and he was the toughest guy I’ve met.
Why do criminals keep on being sent back? I don’t know.
There is a lot of waste in our society. We should rehabilitate them and give them jobs as gardeners.
A Pettman, Cambs

It must have taken a great deal of courage for you to speak out on these important issues but please don’t leave the story half-finished! I’m sure I speak for all HYS readers when I say that we want to know more about this very tough marine.

Update: I wish I’d thought of this response (from Steve) “Lenses? Paedo.”

Hello

Marriage is the biblical way forward, and I think David Camerons new tax system, of encouraging marriage, is a good one.
However, I can understand why people do live together before marriage, as long as they keep the intercourse part of sex out until married, as again that is the Biblical way to be.

I come from a Christian family, where both parents, are so obviously still in love, we had a strong Christian upbringing, and excellent support to this day.

My parents are always there for me, and vise versa.

Homesexuallity is Biblically wrong, God said this for a reason, to protect mankind, this was done for protection purposes.

It’s nice to see people resisting their biological urges and keeping themselves pure and innocent until their wedding day. That sort of thing gives God a boner. In fact, I think it’s in Exodus that the Lord says “But a man and a woman shall not lie with each other out of wedlock unless the man works his cock slowly in and out of her butt or unless the woman doth gobble his manhood in her mouth. For I decree that these acts are technically not actual proper sex. It may sound like a bit of a stupid distinction but, believe you me, if you’ve been abstaining since you hit puberty, you’re going to be grateful for the chance to do pretty much anything, even if you end up with a sore arse”.

More breast related news:

Breast milk is a gift from God, as is the womb- God cares for the child both in the womb and after birth. It is sad to see the self-loathing from so many women on HYS about the wonderful gift of delivering and caring for young life that they have been blessed with by God. Breast milk is the best for the child, because it was made by God.

Made by God and injected into your norks while you sleep. If you set an alarm for 4am you might even catch him at it, furtively poking his “magic milk hose” up your nightie.

Woody has a lot of views about stuff. Unfortunately HYS has given him the opportunity to share them.

The problem with Africa is the fact the people have not evolved mentally as we in the west have, they are still stuck in the tribal era, except they use guns instead of spears.

As harsh as it sounds this is simply natures way of continuing evolution, they will destroy each other because they simply are not capable of uniting and being at peace with each other.

This is the equivalent of Homosapiens watching Neandathols fight and kill each other. We should not intervene in any way.

Atheist Woody, Burton on Trent, United Kingdom

One day, many generations from now, we can only hope that the population of Africa has evolved to your level. Although, I’m not sure evolution works that way (and by ‘that way’, I mean ‘backwards’).

It seems my comments (before the mods deleted them) started an arguement about immigration.

That was not my intention, I merely wished to say that the more immigrants come to the area the less houses are available, thus the prices for the available ones go up.

Please explain to me how a polish man for example has enough money to migrate here, get a car, and then still have enough money to immediately get an apartment or house.

I do 40 hours a week on average wage and I cant afford it.

Atheist Woody, Burton on Trent, United Kingdom

I don’t understand it either. How can someone from ANOTHER COUNTRY have more money than an intelligent BRITISH person like yourself? I heard they hadn’t even invented money in Poland and they had to buy everything with beads and shiney pebbles.
